File contains monthly reports of bird observations (1941-1961), and tables containing annual statistics of observations arranged by species (1941-1967). Each monthly report contains a summary of the month's weather (with comments about temperature, wind, and precipitation) and a table containing the total number of each species observed by Gould. Monthly reports often include additional special notes describing unusual sightings (with comments about nesting, plumage, calls, size, and behaviour) and observations made outside of Gould's usual birding area around North Bay under the subheading "Observations elsewhere." Special notes occasionally describe sightings of mammals as well.

Series contains programs from Nipissing University convocations (including those held at the Brantford Campus from 2007 to 2014) and awards ceremonies, as well as convocation invitations.

File contains convocation programs.

Collection contains publications and ephemera published by or relating to Nipissing University, its administrative and academic departments, and related organizations. Publications include: academic calendars, yearbooks, reports, magazines, newsletters, student guides and handbooks, and faculty profiles. Ephemera include: convocation and awards ceremony programs, promotional brochures, and pamphlets. Collection contains 12 series.

Entrance register contains information about new students, arranged chronologically by session (year of the school's operation). Recorded information includes: registration number, date of registration, name, birth place, date of birth, age, post office address, religious denomination, non-professional qualifications, where obtained, last place of teaching, and length of teaching experience. The register also contains a printed lists of students by academic year, loose or pasted into the margins of the register.

File contains postcards of North Bay and other locations in and near the Nipissing District including: the French River, Lake Nipissing, Trout Lake, Lake Nosbonsing, Sturgeon Falls, Mattawa, Nipissing, Callander, Lavigne, Bonfield, Monetville, Saint Charles and Port Loring. The postcards depict: tourist attractions (such as parks, lakes, beaches, rivers, and waterfalls), tourist accommodations (including hotels, cottages, resorts, and camps), city scenes and buildings (including schools, railway stations, churches, municipal buildings, hospitals, and factories), the Dionne Quintuplets, the Chief Commanda steam ship, and trains.

File also contains a few postcards of other places including Temagami, Timmins, Cobalt, Lake Superior, Pembroke, Haileybury, Owen Sound, and Prince Rupert, BC. File additionally includes several souvenir folders containing postcards of Ontario, North Bay, and humorous cartoons.
