Administrative history

Lois Lake Gold Mines Limited was a mining company in the Kirkland Lake area. Incorporated in April 1934, the company had its head office in Kirkland Lake and property consisting of 15 claims over 600 acres in Teck Township in the Kirkland Lake area.

Custodial history

The register was in the custody of the company's President and Mine Manager Victori Barbieri (also known as Victor Barber) before being inherited by his granddaughter Diana Walton, who donated it to Nipissing University's Institute for Community Studies and Oral History (ICSOH) on June 28, 2004 (ICSOH accession 2004/01). Francoise Noel transferred the register to the Archives in 2014.
