Administrative history

Loyal Orange Lodge No. 1323 was a Protestant fraternal organization in Chisholm, Ontario. A primary (or local) lodge of the Orange Order, it is unknown when Lodge No. 1323 was established and disbanded. Orange Order lodges provided their members with social events and mutual aid, and had a Masonic-style organizational structure and system of degrees.

Custodial history

Records were donated by Graeme Martin, Grand Secretary of the Provincial Grand Orange Lodge of Ontario West, to Nipissing University's Institute for Community Studies and Oral History (ICSOH) on November 22, 2004. Francoise Noel transferred the records to the Archives in 2014.

Scope and content

Fonds reflects the meetings of Loyal Orange Lodge No. 758, and contains two minute books.
